Syria suicide bomber detonates himself at Genocide commemoration event

A suicide bomber detonated himself in Syriaթ§Չ‚-Չ„§s north-eastern city of Al-Qamishli, killing three people and leaving another five injured.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the incident occurred during an Armenian Genocide commemoration event in the cityթ§Չ‚-Չ„§s Al-Vastan district.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reports that the man detonated himself shortly after Patriarch Ignatius Aphrem II finished the ceremony of unveiling a monument to victims of Armenian, Assyrian and Greek genocides.
No details are reported on the patriarchթ§Չ‚-Չ„§s condition after the incident.
