International Istanbul poetry festival \u0569\u0085\u056a\u0537iiristanbul (Poemistanbul) has been organized for the fifth time this year, April 19-26, Armenian poet Artem Harutyunyan, a festival participant, told reporters Friday.<\/p>\n
He received prize for \u0569\u00a7\u0549\u0082-\u056a\u0093Reflecting the century in poetry\u0569\u00a7\u0549\u0082-\u0539\u009d. Note that the festival has been held since 2006. This year Istanbul has been declared a center for the world culture.<\/p>\n
The poet said he presented his poems on the Armenian genocide.<\/p>\n
These, of course, were not accepted unilaterally, though, the poet said, Turkey has changed. The participation and prize of the Armenian poet have been covered by the Armenian and Turkish media.<\/p>\n
